Krause House: The Battlecry of Owning an NBA as a DAO

Krause House wanted to make a statement within the Season 3 timeline. It was an incredible honour to be part of Season 3 as we collaborated on revamping digital assets and creating a campaign to appeal to NBA stakeholders while reinforcing Krause Houses' main objective of buying, owning, and managing an NBA team.


 

The pioneer in Sport DAOs - When you think of Krause House, you think of a collective of fans with a mission to purchase, own, and operate an NBA team, they are looking to revolutionize the way in which people view traditional sports and venture capital through blockchain technology or the utilization of a DAO.

 

We were humbled to collaborate with a team of young, creative minds that share not just a passion for basketball but also an ardent enthusiasm for crypto, blockchain and the intriguing concept of DAO's.


 
 

Sounds good, but what is a DAO?

It is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization - an organization that is run using blockchain technology and where members can vote on decisions with their tokens.

Krause House plans to use branding, marketing, and DAO tokenization to attract stakeholders in the world of sports — whether this is through NBA teams themselves or fans of a particular sport.


 
 

Develop a communication and branding strategy for Season 3

Our goal was to reach sports fanatics, crypto aficionados, and investors in order to pique their interest in Krause House. Therefore, by encouraging them with the slogan "WAGBAT" - We're going to buy a team! - we wanted our posts, designs, and events to reflect that passion. We began to create content to attract two distinct audiences …

Krause Contributors: Individuals passionate about both crypto and sports who believe in our mission, eager to impart their knowledge.

Fans: we are establishing Krause House as a destination for a great NBA fan experience. Even if every person in this demographic does not have an interest in Krause's initiatives, we are still able to create a valuable hub for their NBA content. By increasing the frequency of our marketing campaigns, we can expand our recognition and ultimately form a recognizable brand.

To craft season three's identity, we integrated Krause House's iconic purples, blockchain designs, and NBA-inspired swagger to emphasize the might of a DAO as well as devoted fans.

 

 

Tag Team: Cross - Collaboration

We are constantly searching for partnerships between our clients that result in a beneficial outcome for both parties. In this case, Krause House desired additional sports and crypto content on their social media feed, while Crypto Sports Collector created Sports NFTs/crypto-related news posts - thus leading to the ideal collaboration. As a consequence of working together, both entities were able to increase visibility across multiple channels.


 

Celebrating Milestones and Spreading the Word

We spearheaded a PR campaign season 3, which focuses on celebrating milestones and putting NBA owners on notice which was listed on Yahoo Finance Yahoo Sports, including other media outlets Cryptoddy, Mintedwire, Techilive, Coinpress, Nftcable, Globenewswire, Noncoiner and more.

Krause House x Ball Hogs

In a mere five years, Krause House achieved remarkable accomplishments - the most noteworthy being purchasing their own team in Ice Cube's BIG3 League. This league is comprised of retired NBA players and international basketball competitors who battle it out with 3v3 games of hoops. Launched in 2017, this alternative to the traditional game has gained immense popularity amongst fans during the otherwise-dormant NBA offseason.

At the beginning of May, BIG3 unveiled a revolutionary tool to revolutionize ownership by allowing buyers to purchase NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). By doing so, Krause House was able to acquire all 25 fire-tier assets that granted them rights and control over Ball Hogs.

 
 

Rumble Kong

Krause House has expanded its portfolio by securing a Rumble Kong League Club NFT, which grants team ownership in the first metaverse sports league. As a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) with a group of sports fanatics and crypto enthusiasts to own and manage an NBA club, they plan to acquire ownership stakes in other major sports leagues, including e-sports leagues.
